Painting en plein air at Shaw Nature Reserve

SUMMARY OF PLACE:

The martins were busy with their nesting, and spring was springing.  The characteristic greens of spring were everywhere.  The sky was overcast, but very bright, silohuetting the bird house perfectly. 

INSPIRATION:

The martins moving across the sprouting green landscape said spring to me.
