Painting at Mt. Pleasant Winery (Vineyard #10) during the Augusta Plein Air Art Event

SUMMARY OF PLACE:
It was spring in Augusta, MO.  The grape vines were just starting to emerge from their winter nap.  The sky was overcast, but bright.
INSPIRATION:
The young grapevine growth captured my attention.  The lime-green vines exuded hope and promise, a true harbinger of spring.  I was also struck by the uniformity of the vineyard rows.  Their preciseness was especially noticable when viewing them backdropped by the overcast sky.
