Painting en plein air during Augusta Plein Air Art Event at Klondike Park

SUMMARY OF PLACE:: I was participating in the annual Augusta Plein Air Art Event in Augusta, MO. The sun was just peaking over the horizon as I stood at the Klondike Park overlook.
INSPIRATION:: Despite forecasters predicting cloudy weather, there were only a few clouds in the sky that morning. The goal of this painting was to capture the morning light striking this Missouri River cliff.
