The grape vines still had not awoken from winter, and new green growth was still absent.  The weather was mostly cloudy with only occasional sunshine. 

Being from beautiful Missouri, my goal and passion is to paint its beauty.  For this piece, I carefully selected the lay of the land, the strength and color of light, and the genus of trees to state Missouri.
