Summary of Place:
Here lives peace and solitude.
This little gem of a lake is tucked away in the remote Black Hills of SD, near the Wyoming border.
My wife and I spent a late afternoon and evening here during the Great Black Hills Paint Out in Spearfish Canyon inn September 2010.
Inspiration and Design:
My goal for this painting was to capture the effect of sunset at the lake.
