My passion for art arose many years ago on a small family farm in Missouri.  At that time, sporting magazines used paintings for their covers, and I copied them, creating paintings for my room.  I loved the challenge and thrill of painting.   I painted fins, fur, and feathers.  I was so pleased to see that paintings could capture the thrill and adventure of my outdoor pursuits. 

I'm still enjoying the challenge and thrill of creating art.  Overall, my goal is to capture the glory and spirit of the American West.   I want to walk you and me into the sunshine, through the pines, among the buffalo and prairie wildflowers, and everything that makes the West so captivating.
